We showcased Don’s 3D Models in our latest Art Wall Exhibit, featuring photos and negative wood panels of his amazing creations.

From being born in Kansas, living in Arizona, and purchasing a home and living in Menifee, Don and his lovely wife, Fran, moved to the Village in 2021. Don and his wife liked The Village Hemet so much that they convinced his sister, La Vina, to move here, as well. Though we deeply miss Fran, who is no longer with us, Don has continued to share his creativity and passion with our community.

Don’s background as a Tool and Die Maker and model maker for plastics may have sparked his interest in crafting intricate 3-dimensional wooden puzzles—a hobby he’s truly mastered.
